 September CTMH New Product

Hello! If you came from https://misscarriescreations.com/2020/09/10/welcome-to-the-new-product-blog-hop-2/ , you're in the right place! It's Christmas on my blog today! Here's 4 Holiday cards and let's talk about them. These are from the Comfort and Joy Cardmaking Workshop Kit. G1216 $29.95

This kit makes 16 cards, 4 of each of the designs posted. It includes instructions to complete as pictured, but of course, you can change up the designs as you wish. What I love about the kits, they make it quick and easy and even a new stamper will be successful. The cards use a variety of techniques. In the Peace card, you stamp the wreath in sections to form the border. On the Trees, you ink, then stamp on a piece of scrap paper, (or extra tree shape) then stamp on the background, giving you a lighter look. It makes your focal tree stand out! On the Rejoice card, your wreath forms a swag. Adding any of the shapes, words, Peace, Warm Wishes, Rejoice can truly express your thoughts for a great holiday season. I love the bird, ornament and star as well. 8 stamps in this set, along with Red Liquid Pearls, cardstock and card bases and envelopes means you'll be all ready for the holiday season!

This would be a great project for a Thanksgiving holiday, get the family involved and send them home with cards. No excuse for them not to send one out and back to you! The older children would love making these for their teachers and parents, other family members. This kit is on page 22 of the Sept/October catalog, along with another design. ( I personally didn't like the red doves, so switched that card up a bit) No card project police to tell me I couldn't!

Thanks for stopping by and now you're off to see more at Michelle's

National Scrapbooking Month-Blue Skies

No photo description available.
Blue Skies -Celebrate National Scrapbooking Month

I'm so glad you've stopped by! If you've gotten here from Haley's Blog, you're in the right place! I just love this bright, embossed and fun package of goodness. There are so many options with this group! A 12 x 12 Scrapbook, a 6 x 8 scrapbook and the card kit makes 18 cards!! And the Cut Above Layouts are awesome! Talk about options!!  I got my kit early and got right to work. As a "rule follower" I made the 6 x 8 album, and cards following the printed guides. This makes it easy for new paper crafters who can be challenged by all the pretty papers, stamps, and embellishments! Let me show you a few of the 6 x8 album pages which I think will hold photos of my grandkids when we can get together soon! The title page just screams you know there is gonna be some fun in here!
What will we do first?
Who or Where to visit first?

What notes  or photo will I tuck in here.

These pinwheels move! What kid wouldn't love getting these fun cards in the mail! The kit tells you exactly how to do that, so the pinwheel moves and the brad is hidden! I love that! It'll be our secret!
These are adorable! Who wouldn't love snail mail like this?

You too can have beautiful flowers without a green thumb
 I love these colors!

Here's a disclaimer- I tried to add these photos a dozen times. Couldn't get them in my blog. Then I saw an option to get them from my phone, from my computer! I clicked on that to see what I needed to do and voila, my photos were all there. Not in the orientation I wanted. I'm hopeful you can click on each one and see them up close! They are just bright and perfect for this month's stamp of the month's sentiments. As I packed my customers orders this month, I put one in each of their bags! Hopefully it will inspire them to take a look at this collection before it's gone! If you don't have a consultant, just let me know! I'm happy to help you get Blue Skies into your life!
Now head over to Michelle's blog for some more bright Blue Skies! Enjoy!

Time to Celebrate

No photo description available.

I love the first of the month! That means a new Stamp of the Month!
If you came from Haley's blog, then you're on track to see all the wonderful creations of Close To My Heart Consultants!
Let me tell you a little about myself. I love to make cards! I'm a simple stamper when I do! Here's the reasons why: 1. A lot of bulk makes them hard to mail and be sure they get where they need to go in one piece. I often turn them inside out, to give any embellishments a little more protection.
2. Cards are not meant for eternity, like our scrapbooks are. So I spend more time on those, documenting the people that matter in my life, as well as the places we've been.
Having shared that, here's two cards I used with the Time to Celebrate stamp set. I love all the sentiments on this set! The little icons, heart, stars, xxx, are just perfect for some trims.
On this first card I used the hey there, because we're all missing people right now, and I thought this would be perfect to send a message to a friend to brighten up their day.  I used the stamp set D1925, A Million Little Things as well. I love the flowers in this set, along with the splatters and sentiments.
I used colored pencils to color the flower in several shades of yellow/orange to give it depth, as well as several shades of green. I added some of our self-adhesive sequins for trim. I layered the flower onto our Canary embossed paper from the special this month, Blue Skies. Be sure to check that special out!

For the 2nd card, I used the Congrats stamp to welcome a new little one. The stamp set is Baby Bump, B 1706. It also has some flowers, stems on it as well so even if you don't need a baby card, the flowers and stems are perfect for a Spring bouquet. I stamped some of the small flowers in the set to decorate her clothing. I colored the base and figure with colored pencils as well for a softer look. I added some of our bitty sparkles and layered on the Pixie embossed paper from the Blue Skies special. I think this card could be a great gender reveal. Use blue if you're announcing a boy or pink if it's a girl. You could also color the hair to match the recipients. Perfect for invitations for a shower or welcome home to the  new little one. It just says so sweet to me...

I've also enclosed a little note that I often put into cards, which allows them to pass the card on if they desire.
I didn't sign this card, Before I sent it off to you...
But it holds my warmest thoughts, invisible but true.
And if you find a time you need to brighten someone's day,
Then take this card and sign it, and send it on it's way.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and please leave a comment for me. I'd love to hear your thoughts and hope you're staying safe! Now off you go to enjoy more creative projects. Your next stop is

It's the Spooktacular! Blog Hop!

No photo description available.
Welcome Trick or Treaters! Only treats here! If you came from: Darlys, then you'll in the right place!

I love the Spooktacular Special CTMH surprised us with! These little characters are so cute all dressed up to go trick or treating. I'm using the is card, which uses several of the gorgeous papers in the kit, for a Halloween Birthday! On the inside it will say You're 2! I used our new Spectrum Tri Blend markers to color my pirate bunny! He's too cute to scare anyone!
Before we knew about the special, I had pulled out some leftover paper and stamps from last Halloween for my scrapbook group to do! I used the new stamps, D1875, and D1893 with some leftover bulk paper.  The thin cuts make it easy to put together a wonderful layout and it gave my group a chance to use the new markers! You can purchase the stamps set through October in our current catalog! I also used the Autumn Blessings set,B1685, with October's Stamp of the Month as some were not into Halloween as much and they used more of the pumpkins for theirs. I left room for journaling as well. My Spooktacular set came the day of the scrapbook night so I quickly cut some of the characters out, and they added those to their layouts as I did. I also used the animals for a make and take at a crop recently. They were well received. At my regular stamping nights we will again be using this set to make tags and they will be used to tie up a bag of candy for my stampers. They're lucky I share my chocolate!!

I hope  you enjoyed stopping by and it looks like I'm the end of the haunt! If you missed any of the great blogs and projects, head here for a complete list Melissa's

October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Image may contain: text

This is the stamp set we're featuring! It's $18.95, but with a $50.00 order, you can purchase it for only $5.00 during the Month of October! What a deal!

Welcome to my blog! If you've arrived from Ronda's adorable blog and projects, you're in the right place! I've used several of our products in my layout today! I'm a clean, quick, get 'er done kind of scrapbooker. A little bling, some fun products and a layout comes together really quick and looks great! I hope you enjoy!

I used our French Vanilla Cardstock X6046 for the base, along with our Nectarine X 6043 for my mats. I used our Hawthorn Paper for the blue leaf strip with the Zip Strip, X7249 B. The Orange stripe is from our Spooktacular special!  I used the Stamp of the Month for our main element on the left. I just love how Summer turns into Fall, and right now our Fall is in the 90's. A little unusual. The Brown leaves are Toffee X5950, The Julep Glitter leaves are Z3506 and the Bling is Julep Glitter Gems Z3507. Julep is our color of the year. The leaves are our Layered Leaves Z3523. I love that you can use the skeleton top layer, or using the solid, can fill in with a background. I hope you'll check those out. They will retire at the end of October as well. The pumpkins are from our Z3532, Autumn Blessings stamps and thin cuts. The So Thankful is from our September Special! It's October, I hope you didn't miss that special!

In my area, we have a huge Covered Bridge Festival, celebrating the Covered Bridges in our area, as well as many pumpkin patch and corn maze places to spend the last warm days outside. I made my mats to fit 1 5x7 and 2 4x6 photos. When I am taking photos, I love to get up close and personal with the subjects. The people are who I focus on. My kids and grandkids will love seeing how they've grown over the years, and laughing at the fashions of our day. I take shots around the facility we are visiting, especially the covered bridges, but I love having photos of my family on pages where they are the focus.
Thank you for stopping by! Now it's on to Ramona's blog to see her fun project!

Heart Happy Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to our Heart Happy Blog Hop! You should have started at the first blog, so not to miss anyone's adorable projects! If you didn't, here's where to start at:  Melissa Robinson. You've come from: Miss Carries. Here at my blog, I made a layout, with the Heart Happy Paper pack (CC2193), and a card with the stamp set(CC2191). I love our paper packs! There is  a special sheet that you can cut apart and use what's appropriate for your project. so many to choose from and super simple to complete a layout(s) in no time! This sticker sheet (CC2192) included as well, would make for some cute embellishments on the page or a card. (or any other project!)

<

I also made a quick simple card, using our Stitched Hearts Dies (Z4182). I love the bit of sarcasm in this stamp set. You could stamp the heart diagram, and then you have several choices of what takes up the most room in your heart. I chose a simple I love you this much sentiment, with an arrow and the Limited Card Space stamped with it. My granddaughter in the picture on the layout, would always try to best me in an I love you this much, no, I love you this much kind of back and forth. She'd throw her arms open as big as she could, or tell me it would fill up the driveway! She might be too old for that now, but the feeling is the same. You have no idea of how much I love you! I used our Raspberry Ink (Z2812) to outline the tag, and the hearts. I used our clear Shimmer Pen (Z3293) to add a bit of sparkle to the hearts as well. The background paper is from Something Fierce (Z7240B) A quick and easy card share the love!

I hope you've enjoyed our hop so far, but there's more to see so head on over to: Darlys

Boy, has life gotten in the way! I haven't been on my blog for almost a year! And thanks to Photobucket, it  has completely messed up all I had on it! Well, I will make it a priority to get it back in tip top shape, and begin posting again.
I've been so busy with Stamp clubs for Close to my Heart! and, I've gotten the newest Cricut Maker, as well as the Cut and Scan from Brother. So as I play with all these new machines, I will be posting my projects and making the blog a priority again. Hope things are going well for all of you!
See you soon!
