Challenge:   Christmas in July
July 16 - 22, 2013

We should be humming I'm dreaming of a White Christmas as the weather is sooo hot! Today I made a gift container for our challenge! It's a kraft container, with the new Frosted paper line from CTMH. The stamp set is a new one as well...
I used the new Frosted line from CTMH that is in the newest book... made a band around the container, with a zip strip off of one sheet to make a 2nd band. Then I stamped the doily in various shades of the newest ink colors on all colors of the cardstock in that set, and cut each layer out. 4 layers! Added some bling to the center and popped it out on the front of the card. I also decorated the top.

It's all ready to tuck some candies, or gift cards, or other goodies into. It'd be perfect to remember that favorite teacher, hairdresser, or paper delivery person.. wouldn't some homemade fudge sound good right now? Anyway, be sure to link up your Christmas in July project and the links are below! Thanks for stopping by today! Merry Christmas to all!

  1. I admit... I'm so NOT ready for Christmas, but doing a few projects during summer sure breaks up the heat wave. Love your container redo, Janet. Those cut outs are the perfect snowflake...great colors.

    Happy Friday!
