Today's challenge was to use the Owl or Apple from Create A Critter! Since we have a soon to be 3-year old, and a new baby and another one in November.. and my daughter works at a pre-school, I decided to make an ABC book! You'll want to check it out, or at least these two pages, then perhaps make some for your special little ones!

I used the Apple to make the A page. My page is 6 1/4 by 6 inches. I left room to add the Zutter binding when I get all the pages finished! I inked all the edges, layered the apple, and the letter A and the word Apple. Ink is Ruby from CTMH. I used CTMH's Trinity alphabet to stamp all letters. There are 3 different sizes of letters and numbers on this set!

And now the Owl page-

How cute is he?? or She?? I think she, since she looks so chocolaty.. anyway, the ink is Saddle from CTMH. These would look cute just hanging in a classroom or a child's room. They were really quick and simple, and if you have older children, something they could make for a younger sibling for the upcoming holidays! How proud would they be to say they made a book for brother or sister? Anyway, many of the Cricut Cartridges have such cute images on them and you can really tailor the book to suit your needs. A quiet book like this is just good to have in your bag to entertain while you're waiting some times at appointments. I hope you like my A and O page. 2 down, 24 to go... Check back in and see the book when it's completed. No, I don't have any idea when that will be.... but soon, soon!!
