I met Jessica while visiting various crafty pages around Facebook and the blog world. She always has the biggest smile and so friendly! I love how creative she is and I hope she has the best birthday ever!!

So, here is what I created for her:
I know she loves Purple! But then who doesn't? I made an Easel Card, from a Creative Kuts file. Take a look!

I love Easel cards, and this one is telling Jessica to celebrate her big day! I love all the detail Cheryl puts into her files over at Creative Kuts. I know we're into summer but isn't this choice of paper and colors so springy looking? The card has 6 layers then the butterflies look like they've landed in a garden with a white picket fence. I added some flower buds with bling in the center, and the bottom half of the card on the bottom is the stopper to it stands up. I hope Jessica loves it and she has the best birthday ever!

Now, its time to go on to Miranda's Blog!

Here is the lineup in case you get lost along the way!

Thank you all so much for hopping along with us!

and the Fabulous Products from the SweetStamps.com Shop
This Hop will lead you directly into the NEW Challenge at theSweet Stamps BLOG

where the new Challenge will start and the theme will be everyone's favorite:
ANYTHING GOES

Now, onto my project today . . . .
I made two cards with products from both companies. First is a Hello Kitty card with her umbrella (stamp from Sweet Stamps 468 H Ruffled Umbrella) that I colored to match my little kitty and the background papers. The sentiment is from Sweet Stamps as well(Shower of Blessings 9097F). The cute little flower button is a Hello Kitty fabric from the Pinque Peacock. I cut the Hello Kitty from the Cricut cartridge-Hello Kitty.

My next card is a cute little card and when I found this heart paper in my stash, knew I had to use it. I paper pieced the umbrella to match the background, then punched out hearts and added some in the basket then popped up some to look like they were falling into the umbrella. Added a pink ribbon and it just looks like a sweet way to say Hello, Congrats to someone on my card list.

This hop takes place over two days! So plenty of time to visit all the blogs, and there's not too many each day that you have to be rushed! So grab a cold drink and hop to our fun ideas for the summertime!

Here's my project:

I used the same paper/stamps from Close To My Heart that's part of the grand prize! My title will go in the gold area. I will put some journaling in the bottom blue area on the left side. The sun rays are cut from the strip on the 12x12 paper. I love how CTMH has that strip on the end you can cut off and use on a layout or card. Added some bling (the sparkly) but look like water bubbles.. and some buttons.  I know we're visiting Dollywood this summer with our granddaughter and I'm sure I'll have some great photos to add to this layout. There's still plenty of room for journaling! If you'd like to order the paper and stamp set I used here and that's part of the prize package, check out my web store: at

4th of July everyday!

DSC03545

I made a little décor that uses Pinque Peacock products (the white swirled flower, the red plaid button and the red, white and blue stick pin. The Bear is from the Silhouette Store, a print and cut. The Land of the Free stamped image is from Close To My Heart, D1576 Home of the Brave set.

This little bear is all ready to head out to the celebrations to celebrate our country’s freedom and those who earned it for us! We need to pray for our military daily! Not only for their safety but for their choices while they are away. The news paints a poor picture of values and morals represented by our military personnel, as well as our government but I truly believe it’s only the bad that makes the news and I believe the good outnumber those still in all walks of our lives.

If you haven’t shopped yet at Pinque Peacock, please do so! Lots of great embellishments to highlight what you’re passionate about! Thanks for stopping by today!

Congratulations to all the graduates out there! I made this card, from an SVG file over at Creative Kuts.com. I used my niece's school colors. Added a tassel to the hat, and a little brad. I just wrote a personal note inside, but it'd be great for a scrapbook layout as well!! Be sure to enter your graduation cards over at the Cuttin and Stampin Challenge!

Brought to you by the Krazy Crafting Crew

Our independant hop team is bringing you colorful delightful creations for summer time projects!
If you have just stumbled upon the hop, Robin Lane from "Create-a-Latte" will be your host today, you can start from the beginning and work your way through, to get all the inspiration we have to offer. The whole line up will be provided at the end of this post.
This is what I have came up with for a colorful summer..

I spend way too much time on Pinterest, as I'm sure many of you do...anyway I saw this great wreath that screamed Summertime!! And since I had made a quilt in the same theme for my granddaughter, decided she needed this wreath for her room! So here's my Flip Flop Wreath:

I added a purple bow, since Purple is her favorite color.. I covered a stryofoam wreath shape in light purple grosgrain ribbon, thinking that would be easier to adhere the flip flops too since so many glues say not to use on stryofoam.. still hard to find an adhesive that would hold the shoes on. I picked the shoes from the children's section so they had that youthful feel, and she loves the Peace Signs. I added some clip on bling to a couple of them.. Now let me show you the quilt, and now that she has her own room, I think it's a great set!!

I used fat quarters to get a variety of fabrics and traced one of her flip flops for the patterns. I appliqued them onto white 12 x 12 squares, added matching borders and put them all together. We added cute buttons to the toe straps, some with the same theme as the fabric. So cute! It's not award winning sewing, but she loved it and I loved making it for her! Now to take the wreath off my door and hang in her bedroom window for a summertime feeling there every day!

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for some blog candy offered throughout the hop. Our host is giving away this awesome prize!

Some blogs are offering extra perks! They all have their own rules for you to win, so don't forget to read the rules for each one. when they are offering candy, every blog has different requirements for entries.
I hope you have enjoyed my creation today, I would love for you to visit again, we have hops with new themes every first Sunday of each month.
Thank you for stopping by and hopping with us! We love to inspire you so be sure to come back for more!
Here is the line up to help you navigate through..
