“ Cuttin’ and Stampin’ DT call 2014

Happy New Year!!
I hope you've had a great 2013 and looking forward to a wonderful 2014.
I'm finishing up my first term with Cuttin' and Stampin' and this post is my reapplication for the new term! I hope you take part in the challenges over at the Challenge Blog! If not, challenge yourself to do so this year! I just wanted to share with you  some past projects I've done as we wrap up 2013!
I hope you enjoy them!
I loved this paper and the flowers! I'm already for Spring...

I loved the challenge using the Prima doll stamps!

This challenge was fun. We had to find a Pinterest project and case it. I saw a similar card and loved the chevron paper. Quick and easy card! And if you're like me, hate the thought of someone throwing your card away but when they are this quick and easy, no sweat.
Have a wonderful 2014 and I hope to see you back at the blog soon!

Birthday blog hop

Hello! I'm hoping you all had a wonderful holiday! After all the hustle here's to a fun little hop to relax for a bit. Sit down and enjoy the birthday party! Today it's Robin's special holiday! Her birthday!! We've all made something to celebrate her day with her and she's giving away a Smash album that would make a wonderful gift! Here's a photo of it!

I hope you started at her blog so you won't miss how to win this awesome blog candy!
You hopefully came from Alicia's blog http://goldengoddessdesigns.blogspot.com/ to here. I know you won't want to miss any of the birthday party so I've put the entire line-up below my project.

Now for my project! I used a new card kit coming from Close To My Heart in January! It's a $45.00 kit but with a purchase of $35.00 you can buy for $15.00!! Check out the website for details and my web store is http:// Janetscreativeworld/ctmh/com
The kit comes with supplies to make 10 cards/envelopes and papers, and the cutest embellishments. A set of stamps for many occasions and die cuts with all directions! I made all 10 cards and still have supplies left to make additional projects! I love the colors and the sparkly washi tape!

Challenge: Christmas Tag

December 17th - 23th, 2013

Tags, Tags, Tags.. we all use them and I needed some for my presents.
I love this week's featured stamp set! From To and From to all sorts of sentiments which are great for cards as well!! I love this paper!! Because all these are going on my little one's packages, they are quick and easy! They'll rip off the paper, tags and enjoy the goodies inside!! Simple and quick are the way to go for these busy holidays! They look so much nicer, and like you spent some time rather than those inexpensive stickers at the stores!! Hope you'll join our challenge this week!!

Challenge:Anything Goes with a Pocket

December 10th - 16th, 2013

We are thinking about pockets.  Everywhere you look in scrapbooking and card making, you see pockets.  All of the design team projects are using Sn@p December Documented paper this week to create something with pockets.

Hello! I'm so glad you stopped by today! I love pockets and these papers are so cute! Pockets always remind me of secret places to put hidden messages, or private notes to someone. I love the interactive aspect, pulling out the tag to see what's behind the pocket! Fun! Anyway... all my grandchildren will be here for this holiday. That doesn't happen often enough..about every 2 to 3 years. So while they are here, I will take lots of photos! With 3 pockets and 3 tags, plenty of room to catch the darlings enjoying the holidays!

I used the Sn@p papers which are awesome. I used a Sizzix die to cut the pockets. Used punches to cut the banner and the emblems. I used an upcoming stamp set to stamp Fa La La La La. I wrote over it in Stickles to give it some bling. Since I have 2 boys and 2 girls, and not sure whom is going in which pocket.. I didn't add too many embellishments to the pockets or emblems. I will add names and some more bling I'm sure. I hope you'll join us in the challenge this week.. Thanks for stopping by today!

December crafting

Hello!! I need to catch up on my blog! For those of you who knew I had surgery coming up, I had it, it went well, and I'm back to getting my crafting mojo up and running again!!
First of all, I did pick a winner from my blog Dec. 1st. blog hop! Robin Lane you won, and I will get that stamp set on the way to you by Monday. We have snow, and closings here.. so I'm not heading out today!
And because I'm stuck in the house and all alone.. time to play!! First of all, I spent way too much time surfing Pinterest while I was recovering.. so here's my take on two of the cute wreaths I came across..
First is a coffee filter wreath. Easy.. fold the filters, glue, and done!

I'd like to add a bow, but not sure where, or what ribbon to use...
Then I put together this sweet candy cane wreath. It's pretty fragile, so gonna use it as a centerpiece on my dining room table. I need to find something small to put on the upper parts of the canes.. small bows, or little flat holiday ornaments... not going shopping today but when I'm out.. I'll look for something.

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Holidays!
