This is a new file over at Creative Kuts.com
Life's Pleasures and this bunny is having fun, fun, fun! The papers are from my stash, some from Hobby Lobby, CTMH, JoAnn's... etc. I love paper.. anyway, take a look!

This bunny has his hand in the candy jar and it's full of jelly beans!
The egg border at the top of this page and other pages are from the Silhouette store.

This little rabbit is decorating an Easter Egg Tree.. or swiping the eggs.... I drew some doodles on the eggs.

My kids called this page, Cannablism. What's up with a bunny eating a chocolate bunny? They think this just looks wrong... but I love that he's found a place to relax and enjoy that chocolate!

After a hard day of delivering or hiding eggs, this bunny is ready for a snack! and it's a doozy of a carrot! Yummy!

This bunny is out delivering/hiding eggs in his carrot mobile! wonder if that's a green vehicle? I made some green lawn from another file over at Creative Kuts!
Check out this file and other new ones over at the store! And of Facebook, the fun never stops over there! Have a blessed Easter and I hope you find plenty of eggs and get lots of chocolate in your basket!

Check out my card for today!

Today I have a birthday card, although it's belated.., for Jessica (Pinque Peacock) and fellow DT sister Teresa Kaufold who share a birthday! I used a purple cardstock from Amuse products Amuse Products , which I love because it's white on the reverse side, so no need to put another piece to write your note on in.. I added some twine around the white card on the front, stamped Happy Birthday then added a bouquet of poppers/felt flowers from Pinque Peacock. The leaves were from a Chocolate Rose I got for Valentine's Day, and while it was delicious, I knew I saved   those leaves for a reason! Added a stick pin from Pinque Peacock and it looks like you could just take it off the card and wear it! So glad you stopped by today and hope you'll check out the Pinque Peacock group over at Facebook! Always fun!! Hope Jessica and Teresa's birthday was just wonderful and here's to many more!

Today a card I made using Amuse Studio products. I named this Jar of Hearts card.... my husband loves that song- collecting your jar of hearts.. anyway, I cut the jar from an SVG file from Creative Kuts, added some lines to represent where the lid might screw on at. I punched all the hearts from the Creative Memories Heart punches. Each punch has two hearts. I hadn't used them in quite some time but they were out and I took advantage. I added some baker's twine and then on the inside my sentiment- you make my heart happy! From the Hand Scripted set of stamps. I have tell you, that I told my family I could personalize my jar of hearts with names of those who make my heart happy but I only have 12 hearts. They'd better hope they make the cut!  They failed to see the humor in that but I noticed one of my daughters began to count my grandchildren... wonder if she was trying to figure out if there were enough hearts left for my children! There are! We had spent the entire day moving one child and gosh just after living in an apartment for approx. 3 years, had more than most people do in a lifetime. We lovingly told her she was one step away from a horder's episode! I hope you enjoyed the card today and have a blessed week!

How are all of our Pretty Little Peacocks Today?

Welcome to Pinque Peacock’s “Luck of the Irish”  BLOG HOP

Showcasing some of the Newly Appointed Pinque Peacock Artists and Creators:
                                                              “The Pinquettes”

This is the First Ever Blog Hop hosted by Pinque Peacock and presenting the Talented Works of The Pinquettes. We hope you will sit back, enjoy your time as you hop, and maybe even learn a new trick or technique to try out yourself, too.

This hop will share projects created with St. Patrick’s Day and the “Luck of the Irish” in mind.

Now, you don’t have to be Irish to be the Lucky Winner of the Pinque Peacock Sponsored Prize.
One winner, who has hopped all 3 days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) will win this . . . .

Do YOU want to WIN?
Here is How*:

1 – Hop to ALL of the stops over the course of the 3 Day Hop and comment at each Pinquette Blog (Lineup for all 3 Days is below)

2 – Follow the Pinque Peacock Blog and Facebook Page and Shop

3 – Follow EACH of the Pinquettes’ Personal Blogs who are participating as Hop Stops this weekend.

*You MUST do ALL of the steps above to be included in the random drawing for the prize

The Hop will remain open until Monday, February 25th, 8:00 a.m. EST.
The random drawing will be held during that week and announced by Friday, March 1st.

Check out my Project and then strut on to the rest of the lineup!

I used some shamrock paper from  Hobby Lobby. Added my photo mats, but the large holographic shamrocks are actually room decor from Wal-Mart (3.00 for 2) They just sparkle! I added a Lucky charm (Wal-mart necklace in St. Patrick's Day area) And some Shamrock ribbons from Hobby Lobby

The 3 felt poppers are from Pinque Peacock! Acutally I won them from a recent game over at the Facebook site, so if you're not joining in the fun there, look what you're missing out on? Since there's always a pot of gold where Leprechan's are at... I had to add some bling to my page! I added a rhinestone to the center of the poppers. I hope you can tell how sparkly the shamrocks are and they look like the move. Love the holographic effect!!

I added some additional Gold holographic shamrocks, I wanted a full pot of Gold to gather.. anyway.. added the lucky charm and I'm sure whomever photos go on these pages are my lucky charms! Happy St. Patrick's Day early, now since Peacocks tend to strut, strut yourself right on to the remaining of the hop! Have fun!

Now, if you find yourself Hopping off the Path on any of the three days, you can use this Lineup to get back on the Right Track . . .

Cuttin and Stampin Challenges

I hope you will join us for this week's challenge. Go to Cuttin and Stampin Challenge Blog to enter your creation. I can't wait to see them!

Don't forget to get your own Amuse Products (and you won't be disappointed!)

Please make sure your blog posts has a link back to us.

Thanks for participating in this weeks challenge. Winners will be announced on March 1, 2013.

As a DT member, I made two cards using this challenge's colors! Check them out, and then I'll tell you all about them!

The colors were purple, yellow and green. Mardi Gras!! The rich colors of the festival! Here in the midwest, Mardi Gras is regulated to parties at our local drinking establishments... but I love to watch the parade and see all the great wrought iron work, colors, costumes, and masks that Mardi Gras brings out. On the top card, I embossed each pieces to resemble the textures of costumes, or the rich fabrics. Added some bling (what would Mardi Gras be without bling?) to the side, and on that green piece, the embossing resembles iron gates that you might see at a secret garden behind. I added Thinking of You and put a metal embellishment on that to make that pop.

On the bottom card, the birdcage could be hanging from one of those porches on the parade route. Some bling on hanger and a bow.. I think the bird escaped so he could take part in the fun and games of Mardi Gras. Added a Just A Note of Thanks (perhaps for beads... LOL) All products are from Amuse. Tammy Smith is a consultant and if you need any products or want to see the upcoming new releases, check out her store!

But first, make your items to enter the challenge! Thanks for stopping by.

Our Kreative Karma
Happy Valentine's Day!
Welcome to Karma today! I hope you're having a wonderful Valentine's Day, and even if you aren't in a relationship and expecting a real treat today, treat yourself! You deserve it! I made some 3 x3 cards. I love how easy and quick these are and great to tuck into a special gift or tie onto a bag. Let me tell you abou them!
The first two photos are of the whole group. I used some new tools that I wasn't familiar with, and some new stamps, and some new punches!

this web look was created by laying a stencil on the paper and then spraying it with a pink dye ink. the stencils come in all sorts of patterns! the heart was made with the Epihany punch system that lets you adhere the clear cover onto your stamped or paper piece and punch it out. There are silver shapes that allow you to add them to jewelry as well. I made a necklace! the banner on the other card was made with a little banner punch, stapled with Tim Holtz tiny attacher ( I love that tool) and then the little pancake flipper just fits the stamp perfectly!

don't you love the little people on this card? I do.. so easy to attach them, added a stamped sentiment. The other card has a layer with a punched heart, background paper behind that and then layered on the background piece. Added some twine, bling, and how cute!

The heart was punched with a Nestiblities Die but not put into the die all the way so it was still able to remain together at the top. Added the ruffled die cut behind it, stamped, and added a light spray of a product. I forget what it was called, but something like spun sugar glaze.

These hearts were cut from an EK punch. The punch punches out in one swoop, a solid heart, a ring, and a larger ring. Or you can set the dial to cut out only the piece you like. I cut the hearts out of several colors, made a border, stamped and embossed the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment.

Two colors of pink washi tape, a cute phone stamp, and Call me cutie, with some bling hearts and this will be a cute little card to send to one of my daughters that love that current hit-Call Me Maybe! Or the one who just talks on the phone all the time... at any rate, I love how these turned out, and all products were from Archiever's. My friend and I spent a morning recently there doing the Little Itty Bitty Card workshop. We made these cards and one more, but don't have my quilling on it yet.. Her and I had a blast making our projects and then enjoying lunch at the Cheesecake Factory! thanks for stopping by today!

Have a sweet Valentine's Day!

Hello! I'm thrilled to announce that I've been selected to be part of this awesome group of creative women! Pinque Peacock may be the new kid on the crafting block, but you're gonna know them! Awesome products and fun always over on Facebook! I hope you'll check them out!
If you don't all ready know me, here's bit about me... I am a Mom to four grown children, and 4 grandchildren. I spent most of my adult life being involved as a Girl Scout. First as a volunteer for my daughters, then volunteering for the local Council and then as staff for that Council as well as one in Illinois. I loved working with the girls, the adults, and always learning something new! I started crafting as a child with my aunts teaching me how to sew, knit, crochet, and other crafts. I remember in high school, watching the Jerry Lewis telethon and making sure I had enough crafts to keep me busy through the weekend as I watched that. Now I have a taken over most of my house (that's what my hubby thinks) with craft supplies and my friends think it's better stocked than our local craft store. My sister thinks Hoaders need to come here. She doesn't get the whole paper ho thing! Anyway, I love rubber stamping and have thousands of them. I love paper crafts, and have all the Cricut machines and just got a Cameo last year. I still have my Sizzix, and the Fuse, and when my hubby complains, I remind him that he has more than one screwdriver. When he says "the right tool for the right job",  I just smile and say-"Exactly, case closed". LOL Please stop back by later this month when I make my first post with awesome Pinque Peacock products. :)

Please stop by the other new member's blog and get to know all of us!

And don't forget the fun over at the Facebook page!

Good Monday Morning! If you're in that snow covered, now getting rain area.. I'm soo sorry but here at my blog today is sunshine! Or well, bees.. but I'm ready for Spring! This is a new file over at www.creativekuts.com/ called "Bee"ing Happy! I just love these cute little bees and I made these pages for an upcoming birthday celebration. Take a look! Please!

This one will have a photo of the birthday girl, and I'll put her name in the hexagons at the top. For the bottom ones, I'll put her birthdate in this format 2 20 13.. I like the having an odd number at the top and bottom. This little bee is sitting on top of the hive, hoping guests show up with presents I bet! Or that could just be me... anyway, the paper is CTMH Buzzing By
You can get that at my webstore: http://janetscreativeworld.ctmh.com/
I like having one photo here to make her the center of attention. She Loves being the center of attention but she's turning 12 so we all know how that goes at that age...

For this two-page layout, I used more of the Buzzing By paper for the background, and all the strips are cut from the 12 x 12 page. Solid colors are from the same pack. One bee has her ice cream cone, Chocolate of course! The next little bee has a delicous looking cupcake, iced for the Valentine holiday. The heart bee has added a I Love You sticker (Studio 2B Wal-mart) and of course the last bee has a sign that says Bee Happy. There is also a title in this file but I didn't use it, since it's for her birthday. Some little flowers, alson in the file, and I added bling for the centers. Some bright yellow polka-dot ribbon trim the mats. It looks like a party is about to happen and I love the sunny feeling! Her bithday is just after the Valentine's Holiday but everything is red, and we're past that holiday by her birthday. It's raining here today and kinda of deary so I love the cheery feeling the colors bring to the party! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out Creative Kuts on Facebook too! And of course the blog has ideas on it as well. http://creativekuts.blogspot.com/

Good Friday Morning!

I'm ready for the weekend and this Celebration file from Creative Kuts might be perfect for a weekend party. However, I'm planning on putting photos of my granddaughter's upcoming 12th Brithday party on them later this month. I used stickles for the icing drips (okay, I see I forgot to do the pink one at the top-will have to add those) and I decorated the cake top with the same colors, and added some bling hearts. What's a celebration without bling?  I think my girl and boy will be Grandma and Grandpa wishing her the best 12th birthday ever!
