Ready to join our Safari? Let's go!

I used the BoBunny Zoology Mini Album for my project today. It's the cutest little book, and not very many pages, but I managed to get 17 photos from our trip to the zoo in it. We went in August, one of the hottest days of an all ready hot and dry summer. The animals were pretty calm and trying to stay cool! Let's look at the photos!
Here's the cover, with some 3-D stickers. I really need to use up my sticker stash.. I was soo addicted to them prior to getting my Cricuts and Silhouette Cameo, so this was a good project to put those zoo embellishments to use.

When you open the cover, I added a fold out that lets me put 5 photos on this one page. And nice size ones... This is my oldest daughter and her daughter.

When  you open the first flap to the left, you see the Zebra and them on a ride at the Zoo. This was at the Indianapolis Zoo, in Indianapolis, IN. The zoo is about an hour from us. I used a tag from one of BoBunny Zoology paper's to journal their name and the year.

Then when you flip the flap up, you see the Giraffe and the Elephant. This was my first attempt at making a flip type thing, but I think it turned out well.

I love the Lion page, and on the back of it, a hot Leopard. Isn't the Monkey page cute?

On the back of the Monkey page, I put a Zebra photo (the page was black and white and screaming Zebra)

On the back of the Giraffe page, two photos of Giraffes enjoying a treat high atop the trees.

The next page had a Hippo on it and on the  back, I put a Turtle photo. This turtle was huge!

For the last page, a waterfall effect. The Penguin lifts up to reveal the next two animals.

Lift again to see two more animals.

and fianally, an Elephant and both my daughters and my granddaughter.
Truly the wildest of the bunch!

I think I'm going to keep an eye out for fibers and add to the book but didn't have exactly what I wanted, but all in all, I think it turned out well and most of all, my granddaughter will love it! Now my net project is a Digital 2 page layout, also featuring some photos from our Zoo adventure.
I used Close To My Heart Studio J program to make this. You can try the program, with NO obligation, and if you purchase layouts, 9 will get you a free one. 18 will get you 2 free layouts! I had never tried digital scrapbooking but Studio J makes it so easy and there are lots of added elements to add to your pages.

Here's the link to my CTMH website if you'd like to check out the Studio J program.
