This file just "quacks" me up! looks like one little duck has gotten into trouble and fallen off the page. I love the mats and the detail in those! And the doilies at the top and side are super! they would be perfect on other layouts and I love how you can take Creative Kuts files and mix and match to make them work for your needs! This layout will be perfect for those photos of my family "quacking up".

7 Days-7 files! I'm finally getting caught up after being sick in April.. and dealing with a rotator cuff and pinched nerve issue... Sometimes I find working on paper piecing and coloring/inking is relaxing. Always more fun than housework! here's the Simple Moments file. I have some photos of my youngest daughter who always fished while at a Girl Scout camp. They will look good along with some photos of other family members fishing. A favorite pastime of some of my family members. This little girl and boy are so cute!

Another new file- Mommy Loves Me. This file contains the cutest butterfly mats to frame those adorable photos. Aren't the turtle cute? I think I'm going to use a turtle on a card for a friend who loves turtles! I'm not sure why she does.. but ever since I've known her, she has grown a collection of turtles for her home and yard! This layout would be perfect for her three boys!!

For my project I have a Christmas Banner that I made with the new Frosted Paper set from CTMH. This will be available August 1st! If you don't have a rep, check out my webstore or contact me for info! I love the frosty blues and whites... it's not the traditional colors but I always think that blue in holiday décor gives it a cool look. I used CTMH stamps to stamp Merry on the first rosette, then stamped each letter with a new Ink color on each of the other banner pieces. Tied them together with various blue ribbons and now it's ready to hang for the holidays!

I also made a gift container from CTMH. I used a new CTMH stamp and additional new ink colors so you can tell I've gone through my book and pre-ordered a lot of new items! LOL

Hello! Today is kinda sad for me as it's the last day I post for Pinque Peacock. I have some health issues that just don't allow me to give this team the attention it deserves. But I have one last special project to share today! Take a look then I'll tell you all about it!

I work with Seniors and the Disabled in a lunch setting and try to honor special days for them. I have a client turning 90 soon, and think this will be perfect to put with a card that we'll all sign. I used a Sizzix die to cut my flowers, inking the edges and putting a Pinque Peacock covered button as the center. I cut a banner piece, and stamped Wish Big and added to the banner piece. I also put a blingy dragonfly as an accent. I hope all her wishes come true and she certainly deserves everyone!
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check in often as I'll still be sharing my projects as often as I can.

Challenge:   Christmas in July
July 16 - 22, 2013

We should be humming I'm dreaming of a White Christmas as the weather is sooo hot! Today I made a gift container for our challenge! It's a kraft container, with the new Frosted paper line from CTMH. The stamp set is a new one as well...
I used the new Frosted line from CTMH that is in the newest book... made a band around the container, with a zip strip off of one sheet to make a 2nd band. Then I stamped the doily in various shades of the newest ink colors on all colors of the cardstock in that set, and cut each layer out. 4 layers! Added some bling to the center and popped it out on the front of the card. I also decorated the top.

It's all ready to tuck some candies, or gift cards, or other goodies into. It'd be perfect to remember that favorite teacher, hairdresser, or paper delivery person.. wouldn't some homemade fudge sound good right now? Anyway, be sure to link up your Christmas in July project and the links are below! Thanks for stopping by today! Merry Christmas to all!

Now for my project! I made an adorable classy purse from the SVG Cuts that any Princess worth her Crown or Tiara would be happy to carry on her arm!

I used my Cameo to cut out the file, using CTMH paper, which I love due to it being double sided so your projects look great inside and out! Added some red for an accent and the Pinque Peacock Splendid Swirl in black and red. Some black and rhinestone bling and a cute Heart brad just sets it off. Any Princess with this little bag will not want to drop it at the stroke of midnight! She may lose a shoe but I think she'll love this classy little bag... I always love the Disney movies and anytime I have a chance to visit Disney World. It is the Happiest place in the World! Krazy Crafting Crew

Welcome to our Birthday Hop! We're celebrating being together now a year.. we all met taking part in blog hops and each month pick a theme and we craft and share.. so glad you could stop by and hop with us today! If you came from  Lucy ~ Love 2 Create it all , you're on track.. if not go back and start at Lissa Marie So many crafts, so little time!  so you don't miss any fun!
Now for my project, I made a cute little card..
It's a digital file from Creative Kuts.com. I layered it all onto a piece with some stickers and added the Celebrate sentiment from CTMH. I used markers to color the little girl in who is all ready for the party. Because you can never have too many birthday cards, how about these?

This is all products from Stampin' Up. yes, I know I sell CTMH but I'm not a slave to one brand.. LOL
This little flower is the new clay mold and I used white clay then colored it with re-inker. Embossed the background, added some ribbon and all ready for a Happy Birthday inside.

All punch art! I love being able to use punches and remake them into other items like this cute little blue bird of happiness! He's bringing flowers to help celebrate the birthday so Happy Birthday to all the Krazy Crafting Crew and to our newest member as well! Now I've posted the entire line up but from here you hop to Ellen ~ Card Monkey's Paper Jungle where the party never stops!

Your Host

Creative Kuts

Over at Creative Kuts on Facebook, Monday and Tuesdays are BAP's. Build A Project.. this week's BAP was a cute TP card.. the file came with two different sentiments. I made mine into a tri-fold card. Embossed the front and flap piece so it had texture like that good TP.. anyway, since I didn't want the sentiment to be partially seen, I put the face on the flap, then as you fold the two pieces back, the sentiment is inside. I used a stamp from Unity. The other stamp in this set, says "this is how we roll"...and a roll of TP.  I think it turned out cute and the first friend I have that's having a bad day will see this in their mailbox to hopefully cheer them up!

Stop over at Creative Kuts on Facebook and play along with us this coming week! You never know what they have in store for us.. always fun!
Thanks for stopping by!

4th of July

#26
Challenge:   Independence Day
July 2 - July 8, 2013

Happy 4th of July!

Please be careful if you're enjoying fireworks this week!
I used a file from www.creativekuts.com to make my 2 page layout today.
There's also a boy in the file but I know my granddaughter and her mother and I will be at a local parade and so I'll have girl photos to put here..
This paper is from an Americana stack that I've had stashed for quite some time but it's perfect for this layout!

Don't forget to link up your projects over at Cuttin and Stampin! I'd love to see how you celebrate the 4th of July! Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful holiday as we celebrate our freedom!
