Challenge: Giving Thanks
November 5 - 11, 2013
Hello! Thanks for coming over to see my card and hear more about it! It is truly special to me! This Thank You set has so many images, and ways to tell someone you appreciate them that it's awesome! If you're looking for some sentiment stamps, get this one! It'll cover any thank you or note of appreciation you need! All paper is from the store and she puts the featured items on sale,, so I hope you check that out I love the fall colors of this group of paper. I used the patterned paper for my border. It reminds me of a quit. (comfort) I cut the hearts out with a punch I have, and reversed the middle one so it's the honeycomb pattern on the left in the border, but that whole side of honeycomb is so great and honeycomb seems to be the "in" design right now. I stamped Thank you on the same Ivory background. I added bling, because what would hearts mean without some sparkle and shine?
I used the hearts because on the inside of the card, I stamped the expression Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Layered it and used some of the edge discard to make a border on the left.
This is going to a very special person who has helped me through the past few months with some health issues. She was able to get me into a high demand surgeon long before I should have been and that surgery is the 12th of November. She'll call and check up on me between visits, and if she sees me out, will stop what she's doing and ask if I need anything. What doctor or nurse practioner does that? She does!! So I thought I send her this little note card to tell her I appreciate her and all her concern during this health issue. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll join in the challenge!
