Here is a quick little and inexpensive Thank you idea from The Silhouette Store. I hand sanitizer holder. I cut the file out of CTMH paper, loved this paper.. using one side for the holder, the other side for the trim on the front and there is a back piece. I cut the box holder out of the same paper, one sheet does the whole thing! Stamped a holiday greeting adding it to the front with some pop dots. Tied it all up with a red ribbon. How cute are these for co-workers, friends, hostess gifts, etc. Change out the paper for other holidays, or what a perfect Place card setting at Thanksgiving, or a Mother's day Luncheon. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas
Close To My Heart Snowhaven paper. Stamped the trees, added stripes of Snowhaven paper, with a tag from Artiste Cartridge and flags from red cardstock and sliver glitter tape. Added two cute little hearts since the holidays are all about family and love.

It's Halloween week!! I made this easy peasy card... Used CTMH Christmas Paper, I know, it looks gothic with the addition of Halloween stamps. Used the Oct. 31, and bat from a current stamp set. I typed the It's going to be a Great Halloween and printed it out. Matted it with coordinating paper to my skeleton color. Tied him on with a bow.. in case the receiver wants to play with it.
And on the inside: another typed and printed sentiment matted on the same background paper.
with my arthritis I may be the only one feeling the change in the weather..
Happy Halloween!

Close To My Heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge
We had a wreath making class based on one in the current catalog. My friend Angie wanted fall colors for hers. It turned out gorgeous! I had to share it.

Hi! I'm part of a group of fellow crafters who love to create and share their work. We visit each other's blogs and share our love! Everyone works hard to be creative and gosh knows we spend enough on supplies to be creative! Or, am I the only one?? My friends call me Hobby Lobby North! Anyway, I've used the Close to My Heart stamp of the month to make these two cards. The top one uses last year's holiday paper but I just love the stripes! I made the ornament so it could be untied and hung on a tree or other place in someone's home.
This one is a packet for Hot Chocolate! It's 5 x 11 inches, scored at 2 and 7 on the long side, and 1/2 inch on the short sides down the length. I cut the top scores off on 4 sides, then angled the middle pieces that were left to reduce bulk when folding. Folded up the bottom, adhered that, then used my corner rounder to round the top edges, folded it down, and after adding the hot chocolate, used a sticker to shut the packet. I stamped the cute little polar bear, and a Merry Merry Christmas sentiment. These would be perfect, and easy for an office gift for fellow co-workers.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Creative Blog Tour
Welcome to my blog! I’m delighted to be part of the Creative Blog Tour! Thank you to my friend Sarah who invited me to take part.
1.What am I working on?
I’m enjoying the new papers and stamps from Close To My Heart! These cards use the new Snowhaven paper line and stamps from the Workshops on the go! It reminds me of sweater weather.
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I try to be creative and put my spin on things. I’ve always thought outside the box.. or colored outside the lines. You can tell by my two cards, that I didn’t exactly follow the guidelines but that’s ok!
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
It’s cheaper than therapy… I’ve always been one to create, tried sewing, crochet, knitting, ceramics, you name it and I’ve done it. It’s an outlet for an over active mind or someone who refused to grow up.
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
Usually in a panic, wait till last minute.. no really I see something that triggers a thought then it’s off and running in my mind. It may take different paths, and when I have a chance to sit down and play, I try out what my thoughts have firmed up into something I can get on paper! Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. But with this hobby, it’s only paper and ink and easy to start over without feeling like a huge waste. As a paper hoarder, I don’t have to go far to find supplies.
Next Monday, you’ll want to check out my friends blogs and see what they’re up to! Thanks for stopping by!

I'm sharing a page from my granddaughter's and I trip with her Girl Scout Troop to Savannah, GA recently. We had so much fun and one of the highlights was this dinner trip on the Savannah Riverboat. There was a DJ and after dinner the girls danced and danced. There were other troops from around the country onboard so they made new friends. I used the Graphic 45's By the Sea paper for the background. I ordered it especially for this trip, and we spent one day on Tybee Island. Anyway, then I matted our photo, added our tickets and a Patch. My granddaughter's is on her vest but since I'm too old for that, I used mine on my pages! We all got the matching T-shirts at the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace. The Mom with us, said she didn't want one at the time, and then we all wore them, she wished she'd gotten one. We tried to tell her.. anyway, if you're interested, I'm the one in the back next to the girl with the hat. This is a great bunch of girls. My granddaughter is on the far right. Dinner was so good, and the trip was great!

cuttin and stampin
We're celebrating Easter over at the Cuttin and Stampin Challenge Blog!
These cute Spring Fling stamps and pretty paper and flowers remind us that even though the winter seemed to go on and on and on.. okay we're having showers with snow flurries tonight.. it's almost time for warmer weather and the Spring!!
I made a card using this great little tag, perfect to say Hello to a friend. Added the pretty flowers with some bling added to the centers. I used a matching journal tag on the inside to write a nice note.
I used the stamp set and some of the papers to make tags. Added the tags to these peeps I had put on a stick and put into a clear bag, with a pretty ribbon. I made 16 of these for my little Scout troop to celebrate Easter today, and will make 5 more for my older group on Thursday.. The girls today thought they were so sweet!!
Today is my last post for the challenge blog. I've enjoyed my stay here and getting to know all of you! I've loved seeing all your creative endeavors and will continue to check in and see what Cuttin and Stampin is up too! Have a Blessed Easter!

Welcome to our Frames Blog Hop!
Brought to you by our Krazy Crafting Crew. We are an independent hop team that enjoys sharing out work with everyone and hope to inspire you with new ideas for you own creativity. We are a team who loves to do all different themes, such as cards, layouts, 3D projects and so much more. We do all the paper crafting from traditional to digital. Mostly traditional, every now and then there may be a little mixed media too!
Now on to some fun.
Here is my project I have made for today’s hop:
I loved the idea of frames, and I have not one, but two frame kits I got from CTMH to make. But as we all know, Life gets in the way! Family illness, and I decided to help my granddaughter's Girl Scout troop by hosting a Scrapbook Crop yesterday to help them raise money for their upcoming trip to Savannah, GA. Then I volunteered to do a Kindergarten Round Up for a neighborhood school and two scout meetings this week later- I'm exhausted!! But on the plus side, at the school event, all my little girl scouts came over and gave me hugs! That's a great way to start the day! Now here is what I did.. I had this old beat up photo of my sister when we were younger, much younger. It was showing the effects of age, and stains. I had it restored and I love the old black and white photos but I wish you could see the colors in my skirt. I'm the one in the back! Don't you love those bangs!! I bet they come back into style real soon.. anyway.. I had copies made and I put hers and mine in black frames, and decorated the frames with tags that says Sisters. This is my favorite photo of the two of us, from the late 50's. We rode our trikes and bikes up and down this street in front of my Little Grandmother's house. We called the other grandma, Big Grandma.. because she was tall! I'm so glad you stopped by today, and now that my schedule has settled down, I'll finish those two frame kits and post those soon.
Don't forget about the blog candy!!

Cuttin And Stampin
April 1 - 7, 2014
Challenge - Create a Quilt Patter using paper or stamps
It's all about Quilting today! I used a Lattice pattern for my card base. I cut 1 1/4 inch squares and glued them to a spring green base. Then I trimmed to the card front size. I added the cutest embellishments, and you'll find them in the store! I loved the NO 3 die cut. I think it could be for a 3rd birthday, or 3rd anniversary or congrats for the news of a 3rd child.. no matter what you find to celebrate.. I think this card looks springy and will do the trick! Hope you'll join the challenge as well.

Happy Saturday
and
Welcome to this months Blog Hop
with
The Creating Blog Hops Cafe'
This month we have made some Mini Albums to share with you. If you have just stopped by to visit with me, thank you and welcome, but please start at the beginning of the hop with our Hostess, Robin Lane with Create-A-Latte. We would not want you to miss any of these wonderful projects.
So, grab yourself a Latte', sit back and hop along with us as we share our projects with you.
I took an empty Girl Scout Mint cookie box, ( I had plenty..just sayin') and cut the top and bottom flaps off. I cut the right side panel off, the nutrition info, because no one needs that.. LOL just kidding to make a book. I used a mountain/valley fold to make a binding on the left inside panel to hold 3 paper sacks (Hobby Lobby). I added Girl Scout paper to both the front and back inside covers, covered the sacks, and made tags for the sacks. I also put flaps on the right side of the sacks for more added places for photos/journaling or in this case, encouragement for the person that this is going to. I think she'll like all the secret places, and can add her photos of her troop. Take a look:

The tags are decorated on both sides.
That's a lot of places for photos and keepsakes! I had the Cadette Girls at a recent Book Artist badge program make these and they used their favorite box of cookies. I hadn't decorated mine so they would have a clean slate and decorate theirs as they desired. Added a twill ribbon to both sides to tie it shut!

cuttin and stampin blog
March 18 - 24, 2014
Challenge - Anything goes using using Green, Blue, Red, Yellow and Teal.
The design team is using the Simple Stories Homespun paper line for this weeks creations. I absolutely love this line.
Simple Stories Homespun 6x6 paper pack
Be sure to stop by the Cuttin' and Stampin' Scrappy Supplies store and pick up your collection of paper, stickers, pocket cards and other bits and pieces.
The design team has created some really awesome cards with this paper.
Here's a complete photo of my project! And scroll down to see a 2nd project.
I used a red pre-cut piece with hearts in it, backed it with heart print paper in a variety of colors, layered the heart die cut on a small heart in the upper right corner. Added the Green Sentiment over a small piece with the heart border and the whole project just over flows with love!!
This card I used some floral paper with all the colors on it, added a red ribbon and bow. Stamped seed packets, with tomatoes, and radish stamps and colored them in. They reminded me that Spring is just around the corner, and we'll be out in our garden soon! Added the Compost Happens stamp and it's ready to send to someone who is having a rough day!
You'll find all materials in the store over at Cuttin and Stampin. Check out the store for these awesome papers and stamps!
