I'm sharing a page from my granddaughter's and I trip with her Girl Scout Troop to Savannah, GA recently. We had so much fun and one of the highlights was this dinner trip on the Savannah Riverboat. There was a DJ and after dinner the girls danced and danced. There were other troops from around the country onboard so they made new friends. I used the Graphic 45's By the Sea paper for the background. I ordered it especially for this trip, and we spent one day on Tybee Island. Anyway, then I matted our photo, added our tickets and a Patch. My granddaughter's is on her vest but since I'm too old for that, I used mine on my pages! We all got the matching T-shirts at the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace. The Mom with us, said she didn't want one at the time, and then we all wore them, she wished she'd gotten one. We tried to tell her.. anyway, if you're interested, I'm the one in the back next to the girl with the hat. This is a great bunch of girls. My granddaughter is on the far right. Dinner was so good, and the trip was great!
I'm only 6 away from 500 followers! If I hit 500 this weekend, I'm going to put everyone who's left a comment for these two hops in a drawing for a CTMH Stamp Set from the new catalog. So leave a comment with a way to contact you and follow my blog!

ReplyDeleteI love, love Graphic 45. I love Savannah and Tybee Island, too! You did a wonderful job and sounds like an awesome trip, you enjoyed it but your granddaughter will have these fond memories for a lifetime! I was a GS and as an adult I was the arts and crafts director at a GS camp! So I fully support Girl Scouting, it is a great program for young ladies! Thanks for sharing your page and memories!
