Thank you Pinque Peacock!
I will choose ONE winner next week!

WOW!! Isn't that awesome??? And if you've not used the Pinque Peacock products you'll love them!

Now for my project which is Totally "Owl"some!
This is a new file over at Creative Kuts.com. I used CTMH paper, in a camo feel.. green print background and pink for the borders and flowers. I love the green and pinks, which reminds me that Spring will soon be around the corner after these pesky hanging on snow showers finally give up and leave! I also love the colors because I'm not sure "whooooos" photos will end up here. I have two grandaughters and two grandsons, so just in case, I think it'll work for any of them or all four of them! I cut all pieces with my Cameo, inked the pieces, then layered it. It's hard to see in this photo. Creative Kuts have added 22 new files to the store this week, so check them out. No Cameo or means to cut SVG's? No problem, most of the files can be printed from your computer and then colored in, or colored in with a computer program then you can cut them out or treat as you would a digi stamp. I love how you can adjust the sizes to suit your project. Layouts, cards, or other decor is a snap! Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to follow the directions to increase your chances for winning!
Here's the file link- http://www.creativekuts.com/Totally-Owl-Some-Package-TOS320.htm
Next you will head over to Tara-http://www.craftindesertdivas.blogspot.com/  to see her project for us!

Here's the complete line up just in case you get lost along the way.

Today I'm posting for Karma and Creative Kuts!

Our Kreative Karma

Monkey See Monkey Do
Good Morning! How are you this spring day? I love the sound of that! Spring! Today I made a 2 page layout called Monkey See Monkey Do!(http://creativekuts.com/Monkey-See-Package-MS320.htm) It's a great new file (one of 22)  over at Creative Kuts.com (www.creativekuts.com) and with my Cameo-a snap to cut and layer these adorable monkeys! Take a look!

All the papers used are from CTMH! I love their double sided cardstock in such great designs and colors. Some inking, double mats, and spring vines give this layout a great look! I know during our Easter celebrations, my little great nieces and and granddaughter will be having a blast and I'll catch them in some shenanigans to put on this layout! Don't the monkeys look like they're all saying- It wasn't me! Which I hear a lot at family functions! Have a blessed Easter and I love how the monkeys will be a unique change from all the bunnies and chicks! Thanks for stopping by today!

Sunshine, Smiles and Summertime Fun photo celestial3head_zps3b03b6d3.gif

Karma will be celebrating Sunshine, Smiles, and Summertime Fun the entire month of April! Hope you'll join us!!

Monday, March 18, 2013

Welcome! Today it's my turn to post and I have a great little card that would be perfect for any occasion and depending ont the colors you used.. could work for female or male or even a child. Take a look, then we'll chat!

See what I mean? I used a white card base, cut a patterned paper and adhered it to the front. I punched a 2 1/2 inch circle. I inked the edges around the patterned paper, and inside the circle. I tied some twine around the side, used a rub-on for the happy day and spotlighted the popper from Pinque Peacock! It's adhered to the inside of the card.. now to personalize the inside message and send it off to someone who has gotten some news to make for a happy day! Thanks for stopping by today! Check out the store over at Facebook and the Pinque Peacock fan page for fun!

Okay, now for my project!
When Jessica sent me the items to use in this hop, I didn't know what might be coming. That's kinda scary... will I like it, will it spark some creative mojo, or ??? But never fear, always LOVE what Jessica sends. Here's the items I got in the mail.

hummm, what to do... love the purple and gold... and the angel stick pins... imagine light bulbs going off, and the sky opening and a bright light... that's how I felt when it dawned on me that Purple and Gold were my high school colors. Sooooo I decided to incorporate my Senior photo (see story) into my project! Yes, I"m that far behind in scrapbooking my life... Let me post my project then I'll tell you an interesting story, or maybe a little motivational.. and perhaps funny!

Yep, that's me! I was 17 years old! Where has all those years gone??? My Senior photos were in Sepia tone, popular at that time.. but this photo was hand painted by a Korean gentlemen while my then fiance (ex-husband now) was stationed there. He had a billfold photo with him and had this man paint my photo and he told him what he remembered the colors being. Shortly after this photo was taken, I was in an auto accident and the ER nurse shaved my hair off from the ears forward. Now back to what I used on my layout, Thickers (Jo-Ann's) for the Garfield and 1970. I had never used them but when I saw them I knew they'd give this that letter jacket kind of look.. then I picked up some purple lettering and did the Class of and Purple Eagles. The Eagle is from an Alaska sticker sheet. Of course, the stars of my layout, A gold Popper and the purple and gold buttons from Pinque Peacock. (with that print on the buttons, they'd be great on a zoo page ) The two stick pin angels, one in purple and one in gold, seemed to be perfect on this page as I am lucky that I am here today. I know I had angels all around me at the time of the accident. It happened as I left the high school one day, excited to get home and get ready for our opening basketball game and a date with my boyfriend. A teacher ran a stop sign and I hit him. Luckily for me an officer picking up his children was behind me and was able to help me and get help quickly. I had my sister and two friends in the car. They weren't hurt but I (driving) went up into the windshield, and then fell back into the seat. I had fractured both hands and forearms, hurt my knees, and had a gash across my forehead just about where that hair swirls down my right forehead. If it had been lower, I could have been blinded, higher and I could have had brain damage. (my sister thinks that verdict is still out) By the time I returned to school in January so I would graduate on time, my hair was just starting to grow in. I looked like the Weebles play thing where you could use playdough to make their hair grow.. It was a rough last few months to finish high school and no one asked me to the prom.. my boyfriend had been drafted and off to the far corners of the earth. That was during the Vietnam era but he landed in Korea. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to continue on and take part in all the fun and give aways!

Now, if you find yourself Hopping off the Path on any of the three days, you can use this Lineup to get back on the Right Track . . .

Winner, Winner- Camille Short won my blog giveaway this past weekend! Thank you Random Number.org for helping me select a winner, and Camille- check your email, I sent you a note!

Good morning! I hope you're safe and warm if you're in this snow storm.. it's snowing pretty good here as I write this! On the 15th and 30th of the month, Creative Kuts is doing a Crop On Line. It's so fun! Each layout is 5.00 and you get those over the course of 3 files. Why 3.. well, you make the first file and then post that photo, then they send you file 2 and so on. That way everyone can see your progress and if you're like me, you want to get layouts done, but time slips away.. Today I finished two of the current ones. An Easter layout and a Bubble gum blowing one or maybe those bubbles that the kids love with the wands in them.. anyway, take a look!

Two chicks busy decorating eggs! I know "egg"actly what photos will go here! Now that my granddaughter is 12, perhaps she'll help me decorate some for this Easter!  With the flowers and their hats, this layout looks so springy!

These kids are blowing bubbles with their gums! Looks like that bubble gum machine is full of more goodies so they should pace themselves perhaps! If you have photos of your kids with the jars of bubble solution, you could leave off the machine and the bubbles in their mouths! The Girl Scouts loved to make their own bubble solution and then make their own wands out of clothes hangers, or wire and even used hula hoops to make big bubbles! Wonder if I have any of those photos.. if not, while my granddaughter is here for spring break, perhaps we'll stage some photos.. or have a bubbble gum blowing contest!
Thanks for stopping by today!

So for today's hop, this is what I made for my project........

Happy Easter! I purchased the frame at our Jeffrey Alan's store on a clearance rack. It was distressed black with a saying in it. I painted it white, added a background of Easter paper (JoAnn's or Hobby Lobby) I cut my egg shaped rabbit out with my Cameo, a shape from the Silhouette store. Added some cute Easter eggs, carrot and bird ( all from Hobby Lobby) and this will be so cute to decorate my table at work where the clients sign in daily at. The back side has a recessed side so I could decorate it as well... anyway, he's waving hello to all of you and wishing you a Blessed Easter! Here's to you having all the Chocolate you desire this season!

I have blog candy!! How to win? It's easy, leave me a comment! Be A Follower of my blog! and lastly, leave a way to contact you, email, website, blog, etc....
