Challenge Week 40 Cancer Awareness

Hello! Janet here today! I'm using the Paper Smooches Hope Die and Stamp set! I just love how easily these dies cut and the stamps have such great images as well as sentiments. I made a group of  3x3 note cards to tuck into care packages or for tray favors for Cancer patients. It seems all of us know of someone dealing with Cancer and I know that a care package can brighten someone's day immensely! My Girl Scout troop is always looking for ways to provide service and they help at the local Race for the Cure and other activities so I think this would be a great project for the girls to make up a batch and send to the hospital or lab to cheer up someone. Take a look at the cards:

I put the shoe and glove on Close to my Heart action springs. Who isn't smiling when something moves on the card? The glove one has Fight Like A Girl stamped several times with small hope ribbons from the die set. The Shoe has a large ribbon, banner piece with Let's Kick Cancer's butt!
The bottom right one has the banner piece, large ribbon die and I am in your corner stamped.
The upper left one has the Hope die and small ribbon die, with a Thanks and inside says For your support.

The shoe is on an action wobble so we really can kick Cancer's butt!

A little bling on the Stampin Up word punch

inside message. A patient may want to thank someone

Another action wobble so you really can punch out Cancer

A simple die background with Hope over it.

Laugh when you can, cry when you must.
everyone needs permission to cry sometimes, you think you have to be strong for your family and/or friends.. but they have no idea what you're going through... go ahead and let it out!

We all know that person who seems to remain strong through everything! The inside of these cards leave plenty of room for a note to let the patient know you're thinking of them... and sometimes when you just don't know what to say.. a simple "I love you"... here if you need me is enough! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll enter the challenge over at Cuttin and Stampin.

I know you'll want to help us support Cancer Awareness and join in our challenge! I'm happy to say that I'm an Ovarian Cancer survivor since 1995 now! And I know that without the support of my family and my church family that I would have not have made it through many days! If you're going through a fight now, know that I'm praying for each of  you!
